Louisville Triple Crown of Running Charity
WHAS CRUSADE FOR CHILDREN, INC.
The WHAS Crusade for Children, Inc., which was established in 1954 by WHAS-TV, raises money for agencies, schools and hospitals that provide direct services to children with special needs. Thanks to generous contributions of goods and services, the Crusade grants 100% of all donations to more than 200 organizations in Kentucky and southern Indiana. No money is sent to any other national charity or organization.
In its first 68 years, the Crusade has raised more than $200 million providing critical assistance to millions of children in 120 Kentucky counties and 50 southern Indiana counties. Together we can make life better for more children with special needs. With the help of our participants, sponsors and volunteers, we just keep getting BETTER! The Louisville Triple Crown of Running has contributed over $1.8 million to the WHAS Crusade for Children to help improve the lives of special needs children.
