Our mission at RAM Racing is not only to raise funds to support our official charities but also to promote, raise awareness and support the mission of the organization. Meet our charity partners below. The WHAS Crusade for Children will remain the official charity of the Chick-fil-A 5k Fitness Classic and City Run 10k as it has since inception. For 2020, the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k series will continue to benefit Make-A-Wish® and their local office.
WHAS CRUSADE FOR CHILDREN
The WHAS Crusade for Children, Inc., established in 1954 by WHAS-TV, raises money for agencies, schools and hospitals that provide direct services to children with special needs. Thanks to generous contributions of goods and services, the Crusade grants 100% of all donations to more than 200 organizations in Kentucky and southern Indiana. No money is sent to any other national charity or organization. In its first 66 years, the Crusade has raised more than $190 million providing critical assistance to millions of children in 120 Kentucky counties and 50 southern Indiana counties. Together we can make life better for more children with special needs. With the help of our participants, sponsors and volunteers, we just keep getting BETTER! The Chick-fil-A Louisville Triple Crown of Running has contributed over $1.8 million to the WHAS Crusade for Children to help improve the lives of special needs children.

Meet our charity partner for the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k. Make-A-Wish® creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. We are on a quest to bring every eligible child's wish to life, because a wish is an integral part of a child's treatment journey. Research shows children who have wishes granted build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight a critical illness. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Make-A-Wish® is the world’s leading children’s wish-granting organization, serving children in every community in the United States and in 50 countries worldwide. Together, generous donors, supporters, staff and 33,000 volunteers across the U.S., grant a wish every 34 minutes, on average, somewhere in the country. Since 1980, Make-A-Wish® has granted more than 285,000 wishes to children in the U.S. and its territories; more than 15,300 in 2016 alone.
